LÖFFLER CAREGA Re-edition

Heidemarie Leitner for LÖFFLER

Re-edition of Mag. Heidemarie Leitner's CAREGA

A new Austrian seating companion recently enriched the product family of LÖFFLER. CAREGA is the timeless beauty and was designed by the Viennese Heidemarie Leitner in 1967. She was still a student in the master class for interior design and furniture production when she designed her delicate chair based on the role model of the "Gold Chair", a chair for festive occasions which is very famous in Austria.

The CAREGA re-edition was celebrated on 26.03.2015, right in the 1st District, in the heart of Vienna, in the LÖFFLER flagship store. Several members of the Austrian Society for Architecture participated in this evening. Prof. Friedrich Kurrent, Honorary Chair of the EAP (Ernst A. Plischke) Society provided introductory words on the life's work of the designer and her award-winning CAREGA design.

One chair, signed personally by the designer was handed over to Dr. Sebastian Hackenschmidt, Curator of the Collection of Furniture and Wood Work at the Museum for Applied Arts (MAK) in Vienna.

Until the end of April, all CAREGA chairs that are sold will be signed personally by the designer Heidemarie Leitner. In addition, LÖFFLER will donate 20% of the sales price in this period to the EAP (Ernst A. Plischke) Society. The Chairman of the EAP Society, Walter Stelzhammer, comments: "On behalf of the EAP Society, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude and personal appreciation for the long-term and generous support of LÖFFLER". The promotion will go until the end of April in the LÖFFLER flagship store in Vienna.

CAREGA is the award-winning sister of a Viennese original: At first glance, straight lines, at second glance delicate, and upon even closer inspection a stylish, constant beauty.
